Refunds and Cancellation Policy

At Career Companion, we deeply value the contributions of our donors. We strive to ensure that your donation experience is seamless and satisfactory. However, we do acknowledge that errors can sometimes occur. Please review our refund and cancellation policy below:


Can I cancel a donation I’ve made?

For Indian Donors:

  1. Refunds in case of errors: Career Companion offers refunds only in cases where an error or technical issue has resulted in accidental double payments or an excess donation amount being made.

  2. No cancellation after acceptance: Once a donation has been successfully processed through our online payment gateway, we regret to inform you that no refund or cancellation requests will be entertained. This is in accordance with our policy and applies to all online donations, unless a fraud alert is raised by our payment gateway service providers.

  3. No refunds for banking charges: Any extra bank charges incurred by the donor, such as in the case of a cheque or ECS bounce, will not be refunded. Additionally, no refund can be processed once a tax receipt has been issued in the donor’s name.

  4. How to request cancellation: If you believe an error has occurred during your donation process, please email us at donor@careercompanion.org.in. Our team will review your case and assist you accordingly.

For Foreign Donors:

  1. Due to the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 (FCRA), donations made by foreign donors cannot be refunded once the funds have been transferred.

We will provide you with a receipt for your donation either via email or through post, depending on your indicated preferences during the donation process.
